Stan Milne

Highland cattle in a Scottish valley and a steam train in the background. Stan Milne

The basis of Stan Milne's paintings is mainly in the form of landscapes but usually with a figurative element, or a few sheep, which he finds can be a lot of fun. Stan lives and works from his studio in his Glasgow home having originally been a time served draughtsman with a long career in engineering. While he took the engineering route he has always painted recreationally and began exhibiting and selling his work when he joined a local art group around 20 years ago.
