Art was a positive career change for Grace Cameron who graduated in 2000 with a B.A. Hons in Fine Art printmaking. Grace who had spent 15 years in nursing went on to work with adults and children in a number of different art projects until 2008 when she became a full-time artist.

During that time, Grace realised that art and the arts are closely linked to the "healing" process within. Whether you paint, sing, dance, write, make or listen to music.

It is no surprise or accident that Grace paints landscape, mostly Scotland as she loves Scotland with a passion. Grace is moved by the colours, the textures, the land, the waters and of course Scotland’s weather! “I love the atmospheric effects of the ever-changing weather” she said, and “I hope that my love of Scotland and our great home Earth shows in my work, as I also hope that whoever is attracted to my paintings, for whatever reason, be it the colours, the texture or indeed the place, may they also feel that love and appreciation for our great, beautiful and fragile land.”
