Peter McKay
Oil Paintings |
Peter McKay was born in Liverpool in 1947. He had no formal training in art, but started painting in watercolours at
a very early age and by the age of twelve he was painting in oils.
In his painting he has been greatly influenced by the French impressionist Piessarro, Monet and the landscape artists Turner and Constable.
Living in Liverpool he has the splendid Walker Art Gallery where he studies many fine paintings. He has been painting professionally for the last few years, specialising in the Lake District and landscape studies. |
